Designed and Built by PARC DC – Chamber of Commerce – Pasadena, California

Conversion of two existing single-story building into the office for the Chamber of Commerce of Pasadena.  The program included three offices, a reception and conference area, two restrooms, common kitchen and breakroom, and reproduction area.  The existing buildings were joined together by creating a side entrance to the courtyard areas, and offices and supporting desks were created in a way that would promote natural light and transparency between the workers.  Micro-lam structural joists were utilized for desk tops and shelves and were built-in to the structure to maximize open space and allow for transparency between the offices.  Each office was provided with an assistance desk area to facilitate communication.
