Pool Pavilion - Burbank

Design and Built by PARC DC – Private Residence -  Burbank, California

PARC DC was approached by the client to create an outdoor entertainment space adjacent to the pool.  The concept was developed and evolved from the location and proportions of the existing swimming pool.  The pool pavilion includes an outdoor shower area, open and enclosed seating areas, a fireplace and fenced in storage area.  The back side of the pavilion allowed for a cantilevered steel carport structure which was accessed from the rear alley way allowing for additional parking and access to the storage areas.  The pavilion in sunken and finished by polished concrete and is partially covered by steel beams and joists.  Translucent walls panels and light fixtures were built into the walls and surrounding areas.  The project was completed on time and within the budget.
